Saying bye-bye to everyone
Calder was sad to see all of his grandparents and friends say goodbye for the weekend. He was so happy that they all came to help him celebrate his birthday!!
Our Little Boy
I feel like he looks like such a little boy in this picture. He really is growing out of that 'baby' look way too quickly!
HE WALKS!
Calder started walking by himself on August 17th -- 2 days before his 1st birthday! He even waited until all of his grandparents had arrived so they could all witness him performing this new skill for the first time!! :) He is SOO proud of himself (as are we) and now all he wants to do is walk, walk, walk!Here he is happily showing off his new talent on his birthday.
First Birthday Party!!!
Calder's Very Hungry Caterpillar cake! It was made by Mommy's friend Mary and it was delicious!!!

He didn't even smash his little cake! He was very clean about eating it -- this was the messiest he got!
Taking a little stroll along the lake. We had the party at a park, and Calder really enjoyed watching the ducks in the lake!
