In April, my cousin Lisa and her family came to visit us from Michigan during their spring break. We had such a fun time doing some touristy things, but also just hanging out. The kids got along great and we all happily survived 10 people staying in one house!

I love this picture! Can you believe we got them all to look in the direction of the camera!? |

First touristy stop was Georgetown Cupcake. I kind of expected that it would
just be a cupcake, and that it was probably a lot of hype. I was wrong. They were sooooo good!

Reese's new hat! |

Posing by the Michigan pillar of the WWII memorial. |

Hanging out at the Lincoln. |
Our last touristy stop was the Museum of Natural History. Fun, but oh-so-crowded on a spring break Saturday!
|
Reese and Calder liked the bugs and insects! |
We did fun things at home too! We made homemade playdough and attempted to make homemade slime. The slime came out just ok -- we may need to give that one another try.

On the last day, we headed to a local park for a train ride, picnic and kite-flying. We always have a fun time there!

They all chose to sit in the very back of the train. |
Back home for a little more playtime before they had to hit the road.

Sweet Blake! |

Love that boy! |

We had such a fun time and can't wait for them to come back again soon!
