2013 Christmas Program

Our church had the most wonderful Christmas program! Both Calder and Tessa participated. Calder took a little bit of convincing, but I was able to talk him into a non-speaking part in the play (drummer). Tessa is a member of the Little Lights choir and they performed three songs before the play. They both loved it and look forward to doing it again next year!

Before the performances, there was a party with tons of crafts, activities and treats! So much fun!

Santa and Mrs. Claus

For the third year in a row, we visited with the absolute best Santa and Mrs. Claus around!  They spend so much time talking to each child - it is so wonderful!

Santa even took the time to read each of their letters and talk about their wish lists with them. 

After our visit, we stopped and got our Christmas tree on the way home.  We found the best tree this year -- it was so full and pretty! 

Xmas Card Photo Shoot

While we were in Pittsburgh, we took the opportunity to do our own Christmas card photo shoot.  It's never an easy task, but we managed to come away with a few winners!

 

 

Pittsburgh Visit

We spent a fun and busy weekend in Pittsburgh in November!  We celebrated Dave's sister's recent marriage and also went to our annual Steelers game.  Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures at either of those events, but I did catch some fun shots of the kids getting in some quality time with their cousin Olivia!

Oh, my handsome boy! I was so happy that he willingly posed for a few nice pictures for me, instead of giving me his usual silly faces. I love this boy!

This actually isn't a cheesy pose.  He was staring at the sky, talking about the different shapes that the clouds were making.
