Backyard S'Mores

One of our favorite low-key things to do as a family is when Daddy makes a fire and we have s'mores in the backyard.  Calder's favorite part is the marshmallows:

And Alyse could care less about anything but the good stuff. 

 

Little Lights Spring Performance

A couple of video clips from Alyse and Tessa's spring performance for the kids choir at our church.  This was actually the practice performance because they asked us not to take video at the real one, since it was during the church service and was being recorded by the church.  Just as well, since Alyse chickened out during the real thing!

In these clips, Alyse is front left (the one that isn't singing and has her fingers in her mouth) and Tessa is front right.

Sweet {Muddy} Moments

I'll be honest.  Times are tough with these two girls.  They fight.  A LOT.  Scratching, hitting, kicking, pinching, hair pulling -- the whole nine yards.  We're constantly working with them to get them to express their emotions in a better way.  It's a slow process. 

They can be so sweet and cute on their own, but their joint dynamic is usually pretty rough.

So when a moment like this comes along, I seriously get giddy with excitement.  Sharing, playing and giggling out of control together?  Yes, please!
